And then there is the stuff I bought because I saw it, wanted it, thought it was cool, or somehow convinced myself I absolutely needed it. 😂 Welcome to Random Finds.
The category for everything that made me say, "Oooooh, look at this!"
Not every purchase needs a deep explanation. Sometimes I am scrolling Amazon, walking through a store, or minding my own business on social media when something catches my attention.
Next thing I know, a package is showing up at the house and I am explaining why we apparently needed another thing.

Was this random purchase actually worth it?
There is really no theme here—and that is exactly the point.
It might be useful. It might be ridiculous. It might solve a problem I did not know I had. Or it might leave me wondering why I was allowed unsupervised access to Amazon.
Either way, we are answering the same question: Is it Chaos Approved?

I Saw It
Sometimes that is literally the entire explanation. I saw it. It looked cool. Curiosity won. Now we all get to find out whether it was worth buying.
I Needed It
Okay, "needed" may occasionally be a strong word. But at the time of purchase, I had clearly developed a very convincing argument for why this item needed to enter our lives.
